Additional Meditations To Manage Drinking

Some Alternative Approaches

During my research phase leading to the Four-Step Program I produced meditations that were more direct in terms of the suggestions used. These meditations were designed to allow me to test particular aspects of direct and indirect suggestions on myself.
The meditations are general and safe to use by design though I developed them before I discovered the "No Temptation" approach. Some of these meditations were designed to support the safe management of drinking rather than a complete halt, to reduce drinking to a level that avoided future health issues or allowed a break in drinking to be achieved.
I place them here to make them accessible to anybody that may benefit from them.
I advise only listening to one of these meditations within a period of a month so that you have time to absorb the particular approaches used. Some of the embedded suggestions stimulate metaphorical understanding and learning which can take time to process.
